The softest and most luxurious sheeting we have ever sold at DUXIANA comes from an unlikely source: the beech tree. When broken down, beech wood fibers produce the finest natural threads which are then woven into an incredibly light and soft fabric known as Micromodal. This fabric has very little rigidity and is the opposite of a “crisp” feel such as you might expect from a cotton percale or linen sheet. It is soft and drapey, absorbs moisture quickly, and supports the body in maintaining its ideal temperature.
